Dressing Up Your Novels

images (2)

Now that you’ve completed your novel, now comes the next important step. . . creating the right cover. We’ve all been told not to judge a book by its cover, but we do. If the cover is boring, dull or too busy, the reader might not delve further to see what the book is about.

How will you create your book’s cover? When you publish to Kindle, they have a cover creating program. I’ve never used it, but I’m sure it makes respectable covers. Do you use photos you’ve taken? Photoshop works very well in the process of cover creating. There are even some school of thoughts that you should pick the right colors for your cover also. How ever you create it, make it interesting and engaging.

Below is some of our book covers, all original and created by our Cyncat Team. I’m proud of them all, but just adore The Drifter Courts Trouble cover.
